Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise was an American actor, singer and writer, best recognized for her role as Ginger Grant from the TV show Gilligan's Island. In the 1950s she began her acting career on stage with Bettle Davis' musical Two's Company. She then acted in several Broadway productions before she became an international star with Li'l Abner in 1957. In 1957, she made her debut album called It's time for Tina. Louise debuted on the screen in Hollywood as God's Little Acre, a film released in 1958. She played Griselda, a character in the film. When she was an undergraduate of Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. Another notable character she portrayed in the role of Ginger Grant, which CBS was the first to sign her on to play in the year 1964. Louise had a long and successful career, balancing Broadway television and Hollywood and portraying somber rather than the glamorous image that she received. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The series also featured her as Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although during the past couple of years she has also made an impact as an accomplished director on numerous well-known TV shows including Supernatural and The 100. She was birthed in Essex on the 28th of August on the 28th of August, 1965. Her family later relocated to Toronto for her early years. Then she settled in Vancouver after she was selected to play Samantha Carter.
