Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American writer and designer who has won numerous awards for her works. She advocates the rights of animals. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway '72 are some of her most famous movies. In New York, she was born and raised into an creative family. In the beginning she was employed as an assistant to photographers. Then she shifted her focus towards modeling and directing. MacGraw was noticed in two of her films and was awarded the Golden Globe Award for Most Popular newcomer. The MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was a huge hit that brought fame to the world in addition to being an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. MacGraw was deemed the top box office star in the world after only three films. The handprints of her signature, as well as footprints were immortalized in 1972 at Grauman's Chinese Theater. Her other credits comprise The Getaway Convoy Players, TV miniseries The Winds of War and many more. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography, of hers was released. MacGraw has been married three times.
